In my day it wasn’t easy to get sent home from school. Now you can simply wear a t-shirt that has the word gay on it or perhaps it’s because the word queer on it twice which could be seen as promoting threesomes? This is ridiculous in my belief and am curious about the actual reason the kid was sent residence. What was so repulsive about the t-shirt? It’s not promoting hate or even partisanship but admire . Love should be supported even if it is a teenage boys adore for a pop diva that could pass for a male transvestite.

Lady Gaga has appear to the defence of a US teen who was sent home from school because he wore a shirt that study “I Heart Lady Queer Gay.”

The pop star tweeted last night: “I love you cole, you just be yourself. You’re perfect the way God made you. #colethegreat @fiercefaggot.” Earlier in the day, Gaga tweeted, “Thank

The Nashville high school sent 15-year-old Cole Goforth dwelling and asked him to change out of the shirt, reports WSMV:

“We’ve had a rare disruptions the last several days, and we idea the
slogan on that shirt would continue to escalate those incidents that
had occurred,” said Danny Weeks, assistant director of the school board.

Cole sees it differently.

“I just ponder my sexuality isn’t widely accepted around here, so of course they are going to single me out,” he said.

His
mother said if other students are allowed to express themselves by
wearing religious and rebel flag shirts, her son should be able to wear
shirts that show his views on sexual orientation. (read more

Lady GaGa twitters aid for teen wearing Gaga-themed shirt

Nashville, TN - Lady GaGa is twittering her support for a gay teenager kicked out of a Tennessee school for wearing a fan t-shirt.

WSMV-TV reports that Cole Goforth wore his "I (heart) Lady Lgbtq+ Gay" shirt to Greenbrier High School last week.

School officials say it was causing a disruption. The dress code does not specifically ban the pos "gay" on clothing but it does allow for anyone causing a "disruption" to be sent home.

Cole is 15-years-old and openly gay. His mom is furious with the college. She says they are violating his free speech rights. "It cannot be just my child cannot wear that shirt because it states an opinion," Julie Gordon told WSMV. "We need to seize all the shirts out that state opinions."

Lady GaGa twittered: "Thank u for wearing your tee-shirt haughty at school, you produce me so proud … you are an inspiration to us all. I love you Cole, you just be yourself. You're perfect the way God made you."

It turns out that Lady Gaga herself was speaking out against the censoring of a gay elevated school freshman in Tennessee, who was sent home on April 5 for wearing a T-shirt that said "I [love] Lady Lgbtq+ Gay."

The student, Cole Goforth, and his mother Julie Gordon contacted the ACLU of Tennessee and Lambda Legal after he was sent home. School officials told him that wearing a pro-gay T-shirt was "disruptive" and that he "had brought [harassment] on himself by coming out."

The institution, in negotiations with the ACLU of Tennessee and Lambda Legal, has agreed to stop censoring him from wearing this T-shirt. The school will also provide training on its anti-bullying policy to staff and students to guarantee that it is clear that harassment of any trainee, regardless of sexual orientation, is not acceptable.

  Another free speech battle has begun in White House, Tennessee, after Cole Goforth, a 15-year-old learner at Greenbrier Steep School, was sent home for wearing a t-shirt that said "I 'heart' Lady Gay Gay" which, of course, refers to Lady Gaga.

  6 News reports: "Administrators told him to go abode and change because the shirt 'was going to produce disruption in the school,' Goforth said.
  His mother said the school is violating her son's free speech rights. Administrators have not sent home students who wear religious shirts and those bearing the rebel flag, she said.
  Julie Gordon said her son has worn shirts that say 'gay' to school in the past with no problems and feels the conflict is less about the shirt and more about her son's look and orientation.
  'I think they are singling him out, I really do, and they've made statements that if he wore this in California, he'd fit in just fine,' she said.
