DEPRESSION SUPPORT: Dwell DEPRESSION CHAT ROOMS, FORUMS, BLOGS AND COMMUNITY

This website is dedicated to depression and anxiety peer support. The main forms of contact we offer are via our supportive Depression Chat Rooms, Depression Forums and our Depression Blog section.

Whilst our central objective is to connect people that have issues regarding depression and anxiety, we also warmly welcome others that may have health issues that are related to depression and anxiety. For example: bipolar disorder, eating disorders, obsessive compulsive disorder and so forth. In addition to this, we also actively encourage those that live with, or care for someone with depression and/or anxiety to partake in this people in order that they learn more about these health concerns.

This website is independent, non benefit making and is free for all to use. We would however fond to express our gratitude to  Depression Understood for the kind use of some of their resources. Please notice that you may be connected to our sister website when accessing some of the options that we give. This is primarily to aid the cause of shared depression support

HealthfulChat is honored to bring you the Female homosexual, Bisexual, Gay, Transgender, Queer/Questioning Chat Room, forum and social network. We are strong advocates of people embracing and accepting who they are, and we understand that there are times where that very personal acceptance is not welcomed by sometimes, and most unfortunately, those we care about the most. We also recognize that there are those who are accepted unconditionally by their loved ones as well. We here at HealthfulChat wish to offer all of the LGBTQ community the chance to connect and support one another in friendship and love in a secure environment.

We understand the many pressures associated with both living openly in the LGBTQ community and the pain and loneliness in feeling like you must live a closeted existence. Many of these pressures come from stigma, social isolation, family relationships, homophobia and transphobia. Having to face these issues alone can often conduct to depression and/or anxiety disorders. Statistics show that an estimated 3.5% of people in the US alone identify as woman loving woman, gay or bisexual and 0.3% of adults are transgendered. This implies that there are 9 million Americans alone
