Why Do Gay Men Adore Big Dicks?
Why do male lover men love big dicks? Everyone who is sexually interested in men, it seems, values a giant dick. Research published in the Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences found that, when shown computer-generated images of male figures, women rated their attractiveness higher the larger the penis became. Not only that, but they looked at the endowed figures for significantly longer.
Gay men are no diverse. In fact, we may be worse. According to a survey by queer men’s health charity GMFA, one in five men have rejected a fling because of their penis size. More concerning, eight percent said penis size influences their decision to wear a condom.
Small = Less Manly?
The research also produced some worrisome commentary. “Being small has always affected my confidence. I feel less manly,” Chris, 29 from London, said. “I have a liking for men to possess something substantial. So I feel bad for others who might expect the same with me. I don’t feel body pleased, I get very concerned wearing speedos.”
I then conducted a survey of my own via Twitter, asking if the size of a man’s penis is important. The result? 69 percent said size was
What Gay and Bi Men Really Want
Are physical and sexual attraction the most appealing qualities in a partner? Or are unseen qualities like good manners and reliability the most attractive?
Following on from his investigate into what direct women want and what straight men want, D&M Research’s managing director Derek Jones has taken the next coherent step with his latest study into what gay and bi(sexual) men want.
In order to excavate deeper and pull out a correct list of turn-ons and turn-offs for gay and bi men, Derek once again used of the Im-Ex Polygraph method. He originally devised this way of analysis to distinguish what people say they want from brands, products or services from what they really want by comparing stated versus derived measures of importance.
Qualities the gay and bi men said they desired in a partner (‘stated’) were compared to the qualities present in example celebrities they nominated as attractive (‘implied’). The equal comparison was made between stated and implied negative qualities, to determine what attributes are really the biggest turn-offs.

Sexual health for male lover and bisexual men
Having unprotected penetrative sex is the most likely way to pass on a sexually transmitted infection (STI).
Using a condom helps safeguard against HIV and lowers the risk of getting many other STIs.
If you’re a man having sex with men (MSM), without condoms and with someone unused, you should have an STI and HIV check every 3 months, otherwise, it should be at least once a year. This can be done at a sexual health clinic (SHC) or genitourinary medicine (GUM) clinic. This is important, as some STIs do not generate any symptoms.

Hepatitis A is a liver infection that's spread by a virus in poo.

Why (and how) are men making their dicks bigger?
A version of this article was originally published 28 January 2019.
Prepare yourself for a cold hard fact: the average erect penis in Britain is around five-and-a-half inches long. It’s not six or seven, as some men might suggest when quizzed about it in front of their mates (only to make a joke about theirs being “waaaay bigger than that!”), but a perfectly adequate 14 centimetres.
We have, whether we’re direct or non-straight men, develop a generation of size queens obsessed with magnifying our own junk, and it’s fuelling a customs that has lead us down a dangerous route when it comes to our body image. We might not admit to it, but so much of our time is spent adding phantom inches when bragging about our bits on various online dating apps or finding the perfect angle for a dick pic that makes it look just a little bit more commanding than it does IRL. We’re living in a fantasy, with pretty much every earth-dwelling man experiencing a certain level of body dysmorphia when it comes to the size of their members. But where did that notion of bigger being surpass come from?

Does penis size actually matter?
When it comes to penis size, is it really a case of it’s not the size of the boat, it’s the motion in the ocean?
Culturally, the widely accepted view on penis size is that bigger is better. But cultural perceptions aside, this doesn't exactly correspond up to existence. According to a study by Clue in 2019, heterosexual and bisexual women found a penis of five and a half inches most desirable. Queer and bisexual men also generally favor an average size, although it varies greatly depending on the type of sex that’s taking place.
It raises the question, if average-sized isn’t only nice enough, but quite literally ideal for most people, why are we all so obsessed with the notion that big penises are "manly" and tiny penises are not?
Why are we so obsessed with dicks?
To get to the bottom of why we’re so hung up on enormous penises, let's watch at how their representations are perceived in cultures across the world. Massive phallic objects hold long been the focal point of fertility, sex, and pleasure across continents and cultures: From ancient Egypt's Cult of Osiris and the missing phallus, and Ancient Greece's love affair with phallus iconograph
