is yume from hai to gensou no grimgar gay

Oh lord… I wasn’t prepared

God

Oh God

shit happened

This week’s episode opens with boobs young woman and Manabro coming help for the town. Manabro stops and starts feeding birds like he’s some kind of Disney Princess.

Shihoru wants to try but she’s like ” ugh oh no I can’t, plz Manato teach me how to feed birds”. She’s also scared of them and falls on the ground when a pigeon lands on her while making squeaky noises like it’s some benign of hentai stuff.

GOD DAMMIT UR AFRAID OF PIGEONS !

NO WONDER UR USELESS, YOU’LL NEVER BE Fit TO KILL A GOBELIN IF YOU’RE AFRAID OF A HOLY MOTHERFUCKING PIGEON!

Jeez.

BUUUUUT Manato catches her and they both fall on the ground like every crappy shoujo manga ever. I face-palmed at that moment. seriously anime ?

The next day, our loser crew is back to chase gobelins. They all learned new skills. I don’t really feel prefer explaining them in detail. But! Ranta got his demon that he named Zodiaco, we didn’t glimpse it though.

They’ve become a nice party and are now able to execute 3 gobelins at the time.  Since I don’t know, it’s maybe

Available now!

Generally speaking, most new shows pursue a certain formula. The first episode is to build the world setting, while the second is dedicated to fleshing out the characters. Grimgar is weird, in that it chooses not to do that.

In the first episode, we got the world setting established, yet also got way more characterization than we normally see for a first episode. The second episode deviates from this even further. Instead of getting more characterization, we get an episode that focuses almost entirely on a single character.

Don’t take this is as something I’m knocking Grimgar for. It’s actually considerate of refreshing to see a display deviate from the norm. While we do get some character building on the party as a whole, it’s mostly just reinforcing what we already know, or at least, suspected.

For their second outing, Grimgar made the rather bold choice to have it mostly be about Ranta, the least likable member of the cast. Usually, this sort of thing would wait until somewhat later in the season, allowing the viewer to develop a stronger dislike before displaying us why this character is misunderstood, or motivated by things we didn’t

Grimgar of Fantasy and Ash: Volume 13

April 15, 2019
So, this is a bit of a frustrating volume. Two major things transpire that will help waste more time: 1) Kuzaku . 2) Haruhiro and co get contracted to a merchant who says he's going back to Alterna, but they wind up putting themselves in an even more timewasty position by heading to another world (Parano).

Setora features on the cover, and the title is provocative, but the actual content doesn't really hold up for those two elements. More than half the story features Haruhiro organism separated from the organization, and I guess the title refers to the character he is with on his journey. The little that Setora was in there was mostly comic relief between her and their masochistic employer, Kejimann, her deriding him or slightly praising him leading to his strange eccentric expressions of delight or depression. Kuzaku and her also have some back and forths as well. She does possess a slightly awkward "girls talk" scene between Merry and Shihoru, all of them being more reserved personalities, so tough to open up really. I guess I was gentle of interested in this having more shippy elements, but that didn't really happen (if the recent character introd
The art style looks methodical , I like it. The music if soft and calming, the shots are good and the storytelling so far seems adequate. The characters are charming, well, most of them.
Plot wise I assume not much. I imply, I'm not even expecting a reason why they are in this world.

So far no complaints. It seems to be series I may adore watching. Just 12 episodes but it can be fun.

I was mostly turned off by that oppai speech, how unnatural are the others' reaction to ranta's rants. Act you really think it is realistic to comment on girls' assets in front of strangers without any real consequences? I know it is meant to lead into fanservice scenes, i just don't like how it's pulled. there is no correlation whatsoever between yume's lack of archery skill with her oppai size, even if i try to turn off logic it still leaves a poor taste. I may strive few episodes before laying my final verdict though, just because the art is good especially how the characters motions drawn fluidly

Well, this is true. I came to learn to turn off logic and most of my brain cells for scenes like those. I don't even complain anymore but I share your op

If being a priest makes you susceptible to organism targeted by enemies, why didn't the guilds instruct the newcomers to march along with 2 or more priests in their party. In such a world, "that should be common sense"! It's as easy as: "If we have only one healer and he/she get's knocked down, who's going to heal the healer? Hence, we call for more than one healer."
I abhor this when they try to "justify" killing a traits, but then overlook how such a world would deal with such "reasoning".
They didn't need to come up with that excuse ("enemies also know priests heal, so they target them"). Just "the enemies victim those who are left behind, the more vulnerable ones" would be enough.
But then, they come up with another dumb justify on top of that ("I'm a priest and won't fight") instead of having them consider straight and transport 2+ healers with them.
Hope they stop with that nonsense soon...
