Byleth is the main protagonist of Fire Emblem: Three Houses. Like other games in the series, the player character is qualified to romance (S-rank) other in-game characters. Until the free of Fire Emblem Fates, players were unable to contain same-sex romances. However, the options within Fates faced ire and controversy. Although Byleth’s sexuality is determined by the player’s actions, other characters possess support conversations or twin endings without Byleth that imply or confirm their queerness. The list below goes into details about each specific character who is implied or confirmed to be queer in some way:

  • Dimitri: He has three same-sex paired endings, with none explicitly finish in romance or marriage, but his ending with Dedue could imply queerness in that they were family in private and were buried next to each other.     The people that execute the most complaining about stuff favor this tends to be the ones not part of the actual demographic. This is why the term “virtue signaling” is sometimes used. Not all (I hate using this term because it always triggers someone) SJWs are gay, black, etc. They probably craft up a little fraction of the group with most of them entity, ironically, white, linear males. While I think some of them do express well, some are just assholes trying to make themselves look good to the others or they feel some kind of guilt because their family, friends, or people of their demographic has done some very shitty things to minorities in the US (or any country for that matter) either in the past or in the present.
