Programs and Services

We are The 519,your community centre. And together, there’s no going backwards.

For nearly 50 years, we’ve relentlessly fought alongside our communities, advocating for our rights and building a better world for 2SLGBTQ+ people. We’ve been by your side, fighting inch by painstaking inch, for safe spaces, legal protections, and moments of acceptance and affirmation.

This shared history is a testament to the power of collective action. But the fight isn’t over.In a way we have not seen for many years,a rising anti-2SLGBTQ+ backlash seeks to forward our progress backwards.

Our communities won’t go backwards. Our past victories fuel and inspire us, but retro has no place in 2SLGBTQ+ rights.

Together we’re asking you not just to help fight back, but to generously power this fight forwards. Forwards towards a world where every 2SLGBTQ+ person is loved, safe, and connected to their community.

Your support amplifies our critical everyday serve to advance the rights of 2SLGBTQ+ communities. Appreciate you!

There can be times when using the phone to find support might not feel secure or comfortable.

We provide a confidential room online. Here you can connect with a trained LGBTQIA+ peer support volunteer to have a web-based conversation. We argue many different issues and concerns including, but not limited to, coming out issues, gender and/or sexuality identities, connection concerns, bullying, workplace issues, HIV/AIDS anxiety, safer-sex information, suicide, and much more.

Along with peer sustain , listening, and confirmation, our volunteers can access the largest LGBTQIA+ resource database of its gentle in the society (www.LGBTnearMe.org) to provide additional resources.

Hotline calls can be answered from the Merged States and Canada, while online chats are available from anywhere in the world. As distant as you hold access to our website and are able to possess a conversation in English, we are here for you.

HealthfulChat is honored to bring you the Queer woman , Bisexual, Gay, Transgender, Queer/Questioning Chat Room, forum and social network. We are strong advocates of people embracing and accepting who they are, and we understand that there are times where that very personal acceptance is not welcomed by sometimes, and most unfortunately, those we care about the most. We also recognize that there are those who are accepted unconditionally by their loved ones as well. We here at HealthfulChat wish to donate all of the LGBTQ community the chance to connect and support one another in friendship and love in a trustworthy environment.

We understand the many pressures associated with both living openly in the LGBTQ community and the pain and loneliness in feeling like you must live a closeted existence. Many of these pressures come from stigma, social isolation, family relationships, homophobia and transphobia. Having to face these issues alone can often steer to depression and/or anxiety disorders. Statistics show that an estimated 3.5% of people in the US alone identify as female homosexual, gay or bisexual and 0.3% of adults are transgendered. This implies that there are 9 million Americans alone
